Once long ago, all of Lore was ruled by a council of wizards. No ordinary wizard was allowed, one must have been of ultimate power. But one incredibly powerful wizard was not satisfied. This man, by the name of Henrich, found himself better than all the other wizards, and tried to take control of the council. They banned him, and sent him into exile forever. But he swore to return, and get revenge. Fearing that this was possible, twelve members left the council and joined him. These thirteen wizards (Henrich and the twelve others) began walking into villages and destroying them, and killing all in site, until all of Lore feared them, and they were known as the "Terrible Thirteen". But, seeing there power, more and more wizards left the councl and joined them, until they had a whole army, and began taking out entire cities. The remaining council members formed an army to fight the (now known as) "Army of Darkness". And Henrich became known as the strongest wizard ever, and he was called "The Reapers Son". So this "Son of Death" marched his army against the "Army of Light", and forced them to retreat.
The Army of Darkness continued to march across Lore, forcing the Army of Light to retreat back farther and farther. But, one day travelling through the mountains looking for a good place to again, try to defeat the Army of Darkness, the scouts for the Army of Light came upon a battle in which the Army of Darkness was getting pounded by dragons, and forced to retreat. This was the first loss for the Army of Darkness and the dracomancers joined the Army of Light.
The Army of Light fought hard to regain Lore. And after a hard fought victory to retake a village near Darkrovia, the vampire slayers, who specialized in destroying darkness, joined the Army of Light. And then came the last battle, with the Army of Darkness and their valiant leader the "Son of Death" backed up against a range of mountains, no where to retreat too. Suddenly, a war cry sounded and an enormous army arrived. These were the Paladins, strong warriors fighting for light. They joined the Army of Light, and attacked, light and darkness clashing in a final battle to decide the future of Lore.
Henrich killed the Paladin general, the head vampire slayer, and the head dracomancer in a matter of seconds, and kept blasting away using spells never seen before, spells able to remove a whole army from the earth in minutes. But then, he was confronted by the general of the Army of Light, who had banished him so long ago from the council and had started this war. Suddenly, the wizard blasted Henrich with a spell so strong that the "Son of Death" could not even stop it. And Henrich, was gone.
Seeing there strong leader die, all the men of darkness fled, knowing that they no longer had a chance. And the Army of light was set off on another quest, to finish this war for good. Soon all classes joined the quest. The Army of Light was in Pursuit of Darkness.
